We went for a week to celebrate my dad's 70th. My favorite part of the trip was the mornings on the front porch. We would grab our coffee and a book and just sit in silence. It was so calm and peaceful sitting there with an amazing view with your favorite people. You could see the ocean and hear the howler monkeys and birds while you just took in the view. The excursions that were set up for us were AMAZING. Costa Rica is like you are in Jurassic Park but without the giant creatures that eat you. The waterfalls and beaches were unlike anything I had ever seen and the people there are so kind. All the activities we did were relatively close to the Villa so we were back with plenty of the day to hang out by the pool. All of our drivers were super sweet and loved to talk to us about the area and show us a good time. The private chefs we had were VERY accommodating of a large list of allergies and made phenomenal food. I would recommend Topanga Villa to anyone! It is a beautiful place with amazing surroundings.
We hosted a Wellness in Nature Retreat at Topanga Villa and had an amazing experience! You can’t beat the spectacular ocean views, and the birding was great. The Villa is spacious, clean and comfortable and pool was an added plus! The owners Kari and Chad are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. If there was anything we needed, they would make sure it was provided. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay for yourself, your family or to host a retreat then Topanga Villa is the place.

Topanga Villa is a magical place. Spectacular vistas, majestic scenery, luxury accommodations and delightful hosts, staff and service. A perfect setting for a big family vacation or intimate retreat of 10-20. All rooms with private bathroom facilities. I'm trying to imagine ways I can return several times a year. Birds and howler monkeys wake you up in the morning, incredible sunsets in the evening, until the moon and stars wish you good night. We took advantage of many excursions including a snorkeling/diving day to Cano, a leisurely boat ride through the Mangroves, a guided tour to Sierpe and a hike to the Waterfalls at Nauyaca.
